Jerzy Łukaszewski is dead.

We regret to inform you that at the age of 96, on June 3, 2020, Jerzy Łukaszewski, a great Pole and European, lawyer, political scientist, diplomat, official of the European Commission and the International Labor Organization, rector of the European College for 18 years, Polish Ambassador in France. In 2014, he was awarded the Special Prize as part of the "Pole of the Year in Belgium" competition organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Brussels and the Council of the Polish Community of Belgium.
