Małgorzata Wasilewska appointed Head of the EU Delegation to Jamaica

Malgorzata Wasilewska has been appointed Head of the European Union Delegation to Jamaica, Belize, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos Islands and the Cayman Islands.

Ms. Wasilewska, who assumed duties this week, has extensive experience working on issues relating to democracy, organizational governance, strategic planning, human rights, conflict prevention, peace building and security with several international development organizations including the EU, Amnesty International and Saferworld.

She previously served as Head of Division for Conflict Prevention, Peace Building and Mediation; and also Elections and Democracy Support in the Foreign Relations arm of the EU.
